-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1100 block of Pierce Avenue in the early morning hours of Monday, January 21st, 2019, after receiving a call of a stolen vehicle. According to reports, the victim said that someone stole her vehicle at some point during the night, crashed it, and then returned the car and parked it behind her house. Police are continuing to investigate the incident. 

-Niagara Falls Police responded to South Avenue for a domestic dispute that resulted in one individual losing massive amounts of blood due to a razor blade cut across their forehead. Police arrested Charlene Cook and charged her with assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon in the second degree and menacing in the second degree. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. 

-Niagara Falls Police, Fire and Medical responded to the 900 block of James Avenue near Lewiston Road in the evening hours of Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019, after a male was shot. According to reports, the male was transported to a hospital by AMR and is in stable condition. 

-Niagara Falls Police responded to Forest Avenue in the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019, after an individual broke into a vehicle and stole contents from within it. Police are continuing to investigate the incident. 

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1800 block of Niagara Street in the early morning hours for an attempted robbery and home invasion. According to reports, a city resident was reportedly robbed, beaten, and left naked running for his life from attacker(s). The victim was not found inside of the home, but rather was found on the 1700 block of Welch Avenue; naked and with injuries to his face. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. 

-Niagara Falls Police responded to in the early morning hours of Thursday, January 24th, 2019, after a man who described himself as a comic book character – Frank Castle aka “The Punisher” – was causing a disturbance on the 400 block of Third Street.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1600 block of Niagara Street in the evening hours of Thursday, January 24th, 2019, for a patient who was being violent and threatening firefighters with a knife.

-Niagara Falls Police and Fire responded to the 2200 block of Independence Avenue in the late night hours of Thursday, January 24th, 2019, for an overdose where the person was non-responsive.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 300 block of 19th Street in the afternoon hours of Monday, January 28th, 2019, after reports of an armed robbery. According to police, multiple suspects were able to get away with the cash register from Mark’s Food Store. Police recovered parts of the register that broke off as the suspect carrying it slipped and fell in the snow. A ski mask was also receovered. Police are continuing to investigate but believe that the suspects may have ran into a nearby house.
