Niagara County Reports First COVID-19 Death Since August 25h; Twelve New Positive Cases

The Niagara County Department of Health issued the following update on positive COVID-19 cases in Niagara County:

We regret to report that death of a 76 year-old male with underlying health conditions.  We send our sincere condolences to his family and friends.  This is the first death Niagara County has reported since August 25th.

The rest of the update is as follows:

  • 12 new positive cases
  • Total of 1919 positives to date (isolations + recoveries + deaths)
  • 87 active cases (86 isolating at home, 1 in hospital)
  • 1730 recovered
  • 102 deaths
  • 108,930 people tested (source: https://covid19tracker.health.ny.gov/ )
