The day after we reported exclusively that DNA evidence of one or more persons---not Patrick Kane---was found in the rape tests conducted on Kane's accuser, her attorney called for an independent probe into how her rape evidence bag turned up on her mother's doorstep Tuesday afternoon.
Attorney Thomas Eoannou, who represents the former UB cheerleader, did not address reports of the DNA evidence that we disclosed on Tuesday other than to say it was very disturbing.
Eoannou said the evidence bag with her name on it (name redacted) was on display briefly in Eoannou's office while he held his press conference. We are publishing a photo of the evidence bag displayed by Eoannou.
Again, he was not asked nor did he address the reports that Kane's DNA evidence did not turn up on the rape kit of the alleged victim.
