Primary Care Offices to Hold Free Health Fairs

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will celebrate the end of summer with free, outdoor health and wellness fairs at two primary care sites this month.

The first, ‘Grand Wellness,” will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 10) at Grand Island Family Practice, 1801 Grand Island Blvd., Grand Island.

The second will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. the following Monday, Sept. 16, at the River Road Primary Care Center, Wellness Park, 624 River Road, North Tonawanda.

Along with free health screenings both events will feature music, food vendor Smoke on the Water, interactive healthcare displays and a jewelry sale sponsored by the Memorial Medical Center Auxiliary. Physicians and pharmacists will be on hand to answer healthcare questions.

Tops Friendly Markets Pharmacy will have flu shots available at the Grand Island event. The North Tonawanda event will feature child car seat safety checks by the North Tonawanda Police Department and free brown bag pharmaceutical safety reviews by Wellness Pharmacy.
