Critics of Reporter Story Missed the Point

They missed the point.

While Grandinetti and her Facebook followers cried foul that a Reporter story dared to speak about her religion, most of them missed the real point of the story:

It was not that Grandinetti changed religion from Catholic to Episcopalian, but that she chose to announce the change five days after the election.

Criticizing the Catholic Church, Grandinetti accused her former church of being too political.

Too political, the lady says.

Grandinetti may have had a good motive to keep her change or religions quiet. An estimated 35 percent of the city population is Catholic. Less than two percent are Episcopalians, according to www.newyorkzipcodes.com.
