The Tonawanda Gateway Harbor, Inc. announces it’s 2018 Concerts & Events!

Gateway Harbor is located in North Tonawanda on Sweeney Street between Webster and Main Streets and in the City of Tonawanda on Young Street between Delaware and Main Streets.

All events are free admission, user-friendly, and handicapped accessible.

Taste of the Tonawanda’s: Sunday, June 3rd from 12-7pm at Tonawanda’s Gateway Harbor Park. Taste all types of food while enjoying musical performances by NY2LA from 12:30-3:30pm and Rising Tide from 3:30-6pm. There will also be craft beer tasting and additional vendor’s booths, face painters, and balloon artists.

Old-Fashioned Street Dance: Saturday, June 9th from 6-10pm on Young Street in the City of Tonawanda. The popular Crash Cadillac plays 50’s and 60’s music, with guest appearances by Big Wheelie and Richie Derwald – all MC’d by Hank Nevins.

Gateway Food Truck Thursdays: June 7th- August 30th from 5-8pm. Over 40 crafters/vendors will join the trucks on 6/7, 7/5 and 8/2. Family Fun Nights are 6/28, 7/26, 8/9 and 8/23 with games, face painters, balloon artists and more. Other events TBA, but there will be acoustic music every week.

Free Admission Wednesday Night Canal Concert Series: Beginning June 13th from 6-10pm enjoy a different group performing every week through out the summer. Groups to perform are: The Rock Show, Nerds Gone Wild, The Informers, ASP, Toast, Sunflower, Under Arrest, Chicago Authority, Diamond Axe, KISS This, Garage Doors, Who Are You, High Horse, Buffalo Music Hall of Fame Rhythm and Blues Revue, The Grateful Dans, The Relics, Wild & Crazy guys, Strictly Hip, Antara, Hit N Run, and more!

Pizza Fest: Thursday, August 31st in the City of Tonawanda this year to provide more space, parking, vendors, and shorter lines. The public can vote for “Best Pizza” and enjoy more pizza-ish dishes, more sides, more food variety, and acoustic music this year.
