-According to a Niagara Falls Police report, a 72-year-old man was arrested on Monday, August 19th, 2019, after being arrested by Lewiston Police for throwing three kittens out of a moving vehicle on Lewiston Road in Niagara Falls. According to the report, the man was charged with felony animal cruelty and was released on $250 bail. Sadly, one of the kittens he threw out of the car died on impact while the other two could not be found. 

-Niagara Falls Police sent out a message on Wednesday, August 21st, 2019, seeking public assistance in finding an individual suspected with stealing an ATV from the 1100 block of 98th Street on August 10th. Police say there have been multiple calls for burglaries and attempted burglaries to vehicles, sheds, and garages in that area over the past two months. -Niagara Falls Police responded to the Coastal Gas Station at 19th and Walnut Avenue on Thursday, August 22nd, 2019, after reports that a man had stabbed a dog. According to reports, a verbal altercation led one man to stab the other’s dog. 

-Niagara Falls Police responded to 5th and Niagara Street in the evening hours of Friday, August, 23rd, 2019, after reports of an armed robbery. According to police, the complainant stated that his car, a red Dodge Durango, was stolen at gunpoint by two males. 

-Niagara Falls Police responded to 8th Street after reports of indecent exposure. According to police, a person was walking around in their backyard naked.  

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 2600 block of Ninthh Street in the early morning hours of Saturday, August, 24th, 2019, after reports of a shooting. According to reports, witnesses described a car stopping in the street prior to an occupant firing at least two shots at a large deer that was walking in the area. Police confirmed that the animal was seriously injured. A witness told police she was sitting in her home before she saw an occupant of a vehicle fire off two shots before the vehicle drove off down Ninth Street. The witness then saw a large deer laying on thhe sidewalk bleeding from its hip. Niagara Falls Police handed the investigation over to the Department of Environmental Conservation. 

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the area surrounding 72nd Street in the evening hours of Sunday, August 25th, 2019, after a thirteen-year-old boy became angry with his grandmother and took her car. Police say the car was later recovered. 

-Niagara Falls Police responded to 19th Street in the evening hours of Sunday, August 25th, 2019, after receiving reports that a child was threatening to shoot his mother was a BB gun.

-Niagara Falls Police engaged in a foot chase on 99th Street and Niagara Falls Boulevard in the evening hours of Sunday, August 25th, 2019, after reports of two individuals in LaSalle breaking into cars. According to police no arrests were made.
