New York State Has the Highest Taxes in USA in 2016, Study Concludes

Tax Burden in New York (1=Highest, 25=Avg.):
• 1st – Overall Tax Burden (13.12%)
• 6th – Property Tax Burden (4.65%)
• 1st – Individual Income Tax Burden (4.76%)
• 20th – Total Sales & Gross Receipts Tax Burden (3.71%)
