Porn Star Killer Serves Prison Time, Remains Free on Internet, However

Jennifer Marchant of North Tonawanda was sentenced to 12 years in prison in 2014 for the stabbing death of her boyfriend, Ralph Stone. Although she is serving 12 years in state prison, she remains free and easy on hundreds of internet sites, under her porn queen alias of Scarlett Rouge.

Although she’s been locked up in a New York State penitentiary for the past 18 months for the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend, Jennifer Marchant, formerly of North Tonawanda, is not exactly unavailable.

Type her stage name, Scarlett Rouge, into Google and you’ll come up with thousands, tens of thousands of links that will provide you with the most intimate glimpses into the talents that made her famous.

You can find her on “Exploited Chubbies,” “FreeOnes,” “Pornhub” and 100 other sites, performing acts not suitable for description in a family newspaper.

At about five feet, six inches tall and 240 pounds, her ample proportions naturally leant themselves to that category of pornography known as BBW – for Big Beautiful Women – or, more simply, “Chubby.”

She was a rising star in this peculiar niche of erotica, by the age of 24, she had dozens of videos under her oversized belt. Often, the hour long videos were cut down into two or three minute clips for marketing that maximized the producer’s profits.

But all that came to a screeching end on the night of March 6, 2013, when Marchant stabbed her boyfriend, Ralph D. Stone, to death with a kitchen knife in their North Tonawanda apartment. The couple had been drinking, doing cocaine and arguing about her suspicions that Stone was seeing another woman at the time the killing took place.

“I loved him too, a lot,” Marchant later said in court. “I did everything I could that night to get away from him.”

Before she met Stone, Marchant allegedly punched a man in the head, kicked and pushed him after he tried to break up with her. On New Year's Eve, 2010, Marchant purportedly pulled a knife on another boyfriend, threatening to stab him if he attempted to block her exit.

Stone also had a history with law enforcement. Between 2006 and 2011, he was arrested 11 times, most recently for assault with a baseball bat.

Marchant told police that Stone was pursuing her through the apartment and she grabbed a steak knife from a kitchen butcher block. She said Stone, who was unarmed, taunted her by saying, “Stab me. Be the boss. Stab me.”

So she did.

The mother of the dead man, Michelle Stone said her son was breaking up with Marchant that night, which she said triggered Marchant’s “anger and viciousness.”

Niagara County Judge Sarah Sheldon Farkas sentenced Marchant to 12 years in prison. Marchant could have gotten anywhere between five and 25 years for manslaughter in the first degree. With time off for good behavior, she’ll be out in 2020, when she reaches the age of 30.

“Completely unjust,” said Edwin Marchant, the defendant’s father. He called Stone “an abusive, violent individual, and my daughter did what she needed to do to survive.”

Perhaps, but early talk of an appeal has all but gone away and it appears as though Marchant will do her time for the crime of which she was convicted.

She remains free on the internet, however.
