Local McDonald’s® Restaurants Launch All Day Breakfast Menu

More McDonald’s Closing than Opening

Oct 08, 2015

Hamburgers are made from cows such as Blossom, who happens to be the tallest cow ever, according to the Guinness World Records.

McDonald’s also will offer a build your own burger.

Participating McDonald’s restaurants across Western New York are now serving McDonald’s breakfast menu items all day long instead on only until 10:30 am.

“The All Day Breakfast is the No. 1 request from customers. In fact, more than 120,000 people tweeted McDonald’s asking for breakfast throughout the day in the past year alone,” a MacDonald’s company press release stated.

“That means you can now custom-order an egg on your burger or even put some of those World Famous Fries® inside your Egg McMuffin®.” The press release states.

After 10:30 a.m., the following menu items can be purchased along with all of McDonald’s regular menu items.

o  McMuffin Sandwiches, Hotcakes with Sausage,

o Sausage Burrito, Fruit ‘N Yogurt Parfait, Fruit & Maple Oatmeal

McDonald's USA, LLC, states it serves more than 25 million customers daily.

Nearly 90 percent of McDonald's 14,300 U.S. restaurants are independently owned and operated by businessmen and women.

Recent reports show that the all –day breakfast concept may be an attempt to combat declining sales.

The company’s global same-restaurant sales fell for 12 straight months until June when the company stopped reporting.

According to an AP report, more MacDonald’s restaurants would close this year than would open for the first time since 1970.

Chains like Chipotle that market themselves as serving better food and a new breed of ‘better burger’ chains have eaten away at McDonald’s fast food market share.

Becca Hary, a McDonald’s spokeswoman, declined to provide a specific figure of restaurant closures but said the reduction would be “minimal” compared with its total of about 14,300 US locations.
