Temporary 'Plastic Waters' Exhibit from Institute at Aquarium of Niagara

Niagara Falls, NY  Plastic Waters exhibit a graphic display depicting the harmful effects of plastic on our water ways and wildlife is on loan to the Aquarium of Niagara from the 5 Gyres Institute beginning November 4th. This institution’s mission is to engage people nation-wide to restore healthy, plastic-free oceans communication about waste, recycling and helping oceans.

The  Aquarium is launching a three-part lecture series that explain the threats and show how each person can make a difference.

 “We hope this exhibit and the lecture series convey the importance of how small local actions make for big time change”, explained Supervisor of Exhibits, Dan, Arcara. “Each of us has an essential role to play in our environment and this exhibit and series is a great place to start.”

The first lecture will be delivered by Nate Dragg, the project coordinator for the Alliance for the Great Lakes, Wednesday, November 4th at 6 PM at the: Aquarium of Niagara, Whirlpool Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14301
