McDonald's to Award Military Rd. Manager With National Ray Kroc Award

Barb Sherwood, Manager at the Military Road McDonald's, in Niagara Falls, will be awarded the National Ray Kroc award for 2014!

Only 1% of McDonald's 14,000 plus Managers across the country receive this award.

Named after McDonald's Corporation founder Ray Kroc, the award was established in 1999 to honor managers in both corporate owned and independently owned and operated restaurants.

Members from the McDonald's Corporate office will come with flowers, balloons, etc to present her award which also includes a cash prize, a Ray Kroc award trophy, ring and pin, and a trip to Chicago for an awards gala hosted by McDonald's USA President, Mike Andres.

Sherwood was nominated by Dave Freiman, the restaurant's Owner/Operator, who will also be in attendance.

Sherwood first started as crew at McDonald's in 1975. For the past two years, she has worked as manager of the McDonald's at Military Road and Niagara Falls Boulevard.

McDonald's USA, LLC, serves more than 27 million customers every day. Nearly 90 percent of McDonald's 14,000 U.S. restaurants are independently owned and operated by businessmen and women.
