Mission Opens Thanksgiving Dinner Hotline For Needy

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission is celebrating its 4th Annual “Feed the Falls” eventsagain this Thanksgiving and Christmas Days and has opened their Turkey Hotline for people to request aThanksgiving Dinner. During Thanksgiving week roughly 300 volunteers, including members from overtwenty-five WNY area churches, are expected to help prepare, serve and deliver meals throughout NiagaraFalls — and to needy families in rural areas of Niagara County.

If you or someone you know is in need of a meal, please call the Mission Turkey Hotline to place yourorder at (716) 253-1GOD (253-1463) Monday through Friday from November 12th -25th between the hours ofNoon and 5pm.

Volunteers are also needed.

Mission spokesperson, Lynda Hauser said, “Many of us are looking for ways to make a positive differencein our community. This is one great way we can reach out to our neighbors who are lonely and strugglingwith a tangible demonstration of God’s love. This Thanksgiving, that love is going to look like a hotturkey dinner, a big slice of pie and the warm smile of a friend.”
