Jennifer R. Marchant, 24, was found guilty last month of first-degree manslaughter in the stabbing death of her boyfriend Ralph Stone .

The families of both Marchant and Stone wept after the announcement of the verdict.

First-degree manslaughter carries a five-year minimum and a 25-year maximum sentence.

Marchant met Ralph D. Stone Jr. at a party in 2012.

Stone worked in his family's business, was the father of a little girl named Lillianna, a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Wheatfield.

Jennifer was a porn actress and model who used the stage name Scarlet Rouge.

"Dinner for One, Sex for Two," "Super Sized Rides 2," "Hot Sexy Plumpers 27" "The Pick Up Girls" and "Sex in the Titties" were among her films.

A trailer of "Scarlett Rouge goes to the Doctor!" had more than 683,000 views on Youtube. www.bbwfuse.com described her as "a cute big beauty who ... can hypnotize any man with those bright eyes and make them her love toy."

Three years before she met Stone, Marchant allegedly punched a man in the head, kicked and pushed him, for breaking up with her. On New Year's Eve, 2010, Marchant purportedly pulled a knife on a boyfriend and threatened to stab him. She was arrested twice for DWI.

Stone had been arrested 11 times, most recently for assault with a baseball bat.

Marchant and Stone had troubles with their relationship.

Marchant said she was assaulted twice by Stone, although she didn't call police.

Stone started using cocaine.

Neighbors said they were a nice couple who kept to themselves.

Until Wednesday, February 6, 2013.

Joshua Snyder, who lived next door, said when he arrived home at 2:30 p.m., he heard loud noises coming from Marchant and Stone's apartment.

"A party, I figured," Snyder said.

Stone had been drinking.

Marchant came home with co-worker Stephanie Dee. The two women challenged Stone and his friend Ray Graney to a game of beer pong. The men lost and drank twice as much as the women.

Graney passed out.

An angry Stone threw Graney's shoes across the room and forced him out the door.

Around 8 pm, Marchant, Stone and Dee drove to a bar and drank more beer. While there, Stone accused her of wanting to stay in the bar to look for other men. Dee drove the couple back to their Oliver Street apartment and left.

Neighbor, Betsy Snyder saw Marchant and Stone get out of Dee's car "giggling and smiling."

Once inside the apartment, Stone texted someone on his cell phone.

"Who are you texting? Some girl?," Marchant asked angrily, grabbing the cell phone.

Stone screamed, 'Get the f--k out of my house!"

Marchant ran into the bathroom. Stone broke the lock and got inside.

Marchant ran toward the front door. Stone blocked her path. She grabbed a knife in the kitchen and ran back into the bathroom.

Stone came into the bathroom and pulled her hair.

A 911 call was placed to police at 10:30 p.m. from Stone's cell phone.

Niagara County Sheriff's Office dispatcher Holly Babis answered the call.

Babis heard a woman in the background and asked to speak with her.

Stone hung up.

Dispatcher Brenda Higgins called back.

Stone answered.

Asked if there was any trouble, Stone said, "Oh, no, it's OK."

Higgins asked to talk to Marchant.

Stone hung up again.

According to Marchant, moments later, she added, "Then he pulled my head back one more time and I stabbed him" just below his left collarbone. The knife entered nearly 5 inches deep into his left shoulder, cutting into his pulmonary artery and causing him to bleed.

Higgins called back.

"I think everything's OK," Stone said, sounding dazed or intoxicated. "If you send cops here, there's gonna be a problem."

When the first policeman arrived, he was halfway up the stairs when he heard a woman screaming.

Entering the apartment, he saw Marchant and Stone struggling in the bathroom, with Marchant still screaming.

Stone turned and stumbled into the kitchen. He was bleeding from the neck. Stone stumbled again falling forward toward the officers. The officers thinking Stone was lunging at them, tackled Stone.

One of the officers pulled off his patrol jacket and pressed it against Stone's wound to stop the flow of blood.

As Stone lay bleeding to death, Marchant was in the next room telling officers that she thought Stone was going to kill her. She said she ran into the bedroom to get away from him, but he entered and "threw me around."

Stone died in a pool of blood on the kitchen floor shortly after the officers' arrival.

Marchant was taken into custody and charged with second-degree murder.

She will be sentenced March 26.
