Wonderfalls Name Not New

August 12, 2014

While the new proposed taxpayer subsidized Rainbow Mall site development is called "Wonder Falls," it is not a new name. There was a short lived 2004 television series about a woman with a dead end job at a souvenir shop who found a way to pass the time by talking to the various animal figurines on sale there.

The whimsical program, cancelled after one season, has since attained something of a cult following.
