Wound Center of Niagara celebrates opening

The Wound Center of Niagara celebrated its grand opening Thursday (Nov. 7) with a ribbon cutting and open house at 620 10th St., Suite 700 - directly across the street from Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. The center was developed by Memorial and RestorixHealth, one of the nation's leaders in comprehensive wound care and wound management programs. Participating in the festivities were, from left, Memorial President & CEO Joseph Ruffolo, RestorixHealth CEO Steven F. McLaughlin, Wound Center Medical Director Michael Mitchell, M.D., Congressman Brian Higgins, Assemblyman John D. Ceretto and Memorial Board Chair James Roscetti.

The Wound Center of Niagara provides comprehensive wound treatment, including the use of hyperbaric oxygen chambers to deliver oxygen under pressure. This stimulates tissues and helps wounds heal more quickly.

The center is accepting new patients. For information or to schedule an appointment, call 278-4424.
