Lewis named Falls Memorial pharmacy director

Michelle A. Lewis, PharmD, MHA, BCACP, has been appointed Director of Pharmacy Services at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

Lewis is a graduate of Seton Hall University, where she earned a Master's in Healthcare Administration, and the University at Buffalo, where she was awarded a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She has been a clinical pharmacist at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center since 2005.

A clinical assistant professor at the D'Youville College, Lewis was named Pharmacy Faculty Member of the Year for 2011-2012. She is a board certified ambulatory care pharmacist and serves as pharmacist coordinator for Timmy Global Health, which sends D'Youville nursing and pharmacy students to Ecuador as members of medical service teams.

Lewis is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, American Pharmacists Association, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists and Niagara County Coalition of Agencies in Service to the Elderly (CASE).
