Letters to the editor

Dear Editor;

My name is Dominick Cianchetti Jr. I am a native of Niagara Falls, NY and my grandfather was former mayor Jacob A. Palillo. My family relocated to Charlotte, NC in 2000.

Since then I've tried to come back once or twice a year. I recently returned at the end of July. It is always great to see family and friends you have not seen in a while. During that time I was also in different areas of WNY (Lockport and Clarence).

When I look around I have a pit in my stomach, like most of you have. The heartburn of why this area is the way it is. Western New York should be an easy fix, but you have politicians in office who can’t tell right from left.Your taxes are soaring through the roof. Any real job has left the area and gone to where it's easy to do business.

A lot of you have family and friends who picked up and left. Now you’re lucky if you get 15 minutes on the phone with them once a week. Someone is probably on Interstate 90 right now, headed south with their family out of the area.

I have a lot of passion for this area, and run into people constantly from WNY. They share the same frustration that I do. I want nothing more than to be able to pack my bags and return to the place I love to be.

However, it is not possible, nor would anyone think I am sane to return at the present time. Why is that? It’s because you have leaders who are not being leaders. They are running everyone off. It has to change, and we the people have a chance to tell a lot of these crooks to take a hike. There are a lot of important elections coming up. It's time to clean house. If not, more people will be leaving and heading to places like Charlotte, NC.

Dominick Cianchetti Jr.

Lenny Palumbo wrote that President Barack Obama is a “Kenyan born pretender-in-chief.” A true professional newspaper would never allow that. But then, that turd Lenny Palumbo wouldn't have a job.

Dear Mr. B.;
Lenny is entitled to his opinion and that is what the article was, an opinion piece. Now what part of Kenya were you born in? It was not our intention to insult your country.

Regarding your article: "Seth Piccirillo, Good Man, Bad Idea".You may want to rename your story “Plagiarist With A Bad Idea.” Your former columnist Frank Croisdale wrote an article years ago suggesting this very idea. I don’t necessarily agree with the idea, but give credit where credit is due!

Paul Simon;

Tampa, Florida

Dear Paul; Yeah, I know what you mean. I hated it when you broke up with Garfunkel and never gave him credit for making you a star.

Dear Editor; I enjoy browsing through NFR articles. My favorite part has to be the letters to the editor. I love the response that your staff gives when folks complain about using the NFR for toilet tissue, lining bird cages, etc. Too funny.

Keep up the good work.

Brian V.,

It is true that a surprising number of people have written us lately telling us they find the Reporter best suited for toilet paper and we are flattered.

Hello, info@niagarafallsreporter.com

There's a secret herb that helped a guy to transform his THIN grey hair into BLACK THICK hair that lasted until the age of 130. From that time, thousands of people who knew this secret saved their hair ...and stopped the embarrassment of being bald. In the honor of the man who discovered the herb that can solve any hair loss problem, a great statue was erected.
Check out the full story here.

Woman or man, if you losing hair or you want to reverse the baldness, then definitely you need to check this page.

Dear Sam,
Is it cheaper than a toupee?
