Artvoice a leader in reporting Lewiston Road story

Our colleagues over at Artvoice, Geoff Kelly and Lou Ricciuti deserve credit for breaking the story of potential contamination on Lewiston Road and other locations in Niagara Falls long before the public had any inkling of potential problems there. They have been writing about it since at least 2001.

The two men attended our meeting of residents and reported it in their edition of September 20.

At the meeting, Ricciuti, in response to criticism of David Pfeiffer of Man O’ Trees, called him “a hero” for bringing this health risk to the attention of the public.
