Civic leader endorses Restaino

By Robert J. Kazeangin Jr.

I am a former member of the Niagara Falls Board of Education. After 13 years of serving on the board I felt it was time for someone else to step forward to assume the active role as board member. This is when I approached my friend Bob Restaino to see if he would be interested in serving the district and our community. He agreed and was successful in the election to serve as a member of the Niagara Falls Board of Education.

Why? Because he has a passion and commitment to our community.

Now Bob has decided to utilize his talents for us in Albany seeking the Assembly seat. I am proud to support him.

What I would like to address is the recent political mailing I received from his opponent, who happens to be the incumbent.

Upon receiving this piece of so called literature I was shocked and appalled to think the individual, who currently represents my interests in Albany, would insult my intelligence by having the State Republican Committee use this type of “Yellow Journalism” to attack the reputation and character of his opponent.

John simply doesn’t get it. What have you done John to earn my vote and the votes of the citizens of our community? Instead of telling us what he has done during his 2 years in Albany he has decided to attack the character of Bob Restaino. Why, because he is running scared and he doesn’t have a track record about the issues in Albany he can discuss.

Bob has paid his dues and accepted with dignity the decision that was handed him. What is more important, Bob did not go hide from the public. Instead he has moved on and continues to show the citizens of our community the passion he has to serve for the betterment of government in Albany.

As far as I am concerned, John Ceretto your two years are over. It is time for someone to stand up for us in Albany. Someone who will focus on the issues at hand and Bob Restaino is the individual who is more capable and competent to do this for us.

Do we want someone who would focus on this type of sensationalism or do we want an individual who has his priorities straight and is focused on the issues. I know I want the latter, who is Bob Restaino.
