Dr. TIMOTHY MURPHY TO LEAD MEMORIAL'S OSTEOPATHIC FAMILY MEDICINE RESIDENCY PROGRAM

Timothy MurphyNiagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has appointed Timothy G. Murphy, D.O., director of its Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency Program effective June 18.
 The appointment was announced by President & CEO Joseph A. Ruffolo and Vice President & Chief Medical Officer Vijay Bojedla, M.D. 
Dr. Murphy is a graduate of SUNY College at Buffalo and the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. He served his family practice residency at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and has spent much of his career practicing family medicine in North Carolina.  He returned to Western New York in 2010 to eventually assume the position of Medical Director of the PACE/LIFE program/"Care of the Frail Elderly" along with hospitalist duties at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo. 
Dr. Murphy holds board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine and is fluent in both Spanish and American Sign Language.
 The Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency Program at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center is a clinical affiliate of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, a member of the Lake Erie Consortium for Osteopathic Medical Training (LECOMT) and is accredited by the American College of Osteopathic Family Practice as an Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency Program site.
