KRAUSE ISSUES INVITATION TO JOIN NF GOP COMMITTEE

By Robert Krause

Robert Krause
Mr. Robert Krause

Chairman, City of Niagara Falls Republican Committee.

Have you noticed how every June strangers come knocking at your door asking you to sign a petition?

Who are these people? Why should I sign their petitions?

They are committee people - the ones who will help select what candidate will be endorsed by your political party to run for office.

You elect these committeemen, but they must get enough petitions signed in order to run to become part of the committee that convenes to endorse candidates who will run for office.
Of course, the committee does not control who has the right to run. They only make endorsements based on the principles the party stands for.

Our list of principles include:
** Government exists to protect freedom, not restrict it.
** Free enterprise, entrepreneurship, individual incentive are the foundation upon which economic prosperity and freedom is based.
** Government must be accountable to the people. When it becomes self-serving, it must be reformed.
** Zero tolerance for government waste, fraud and corruption. Government has a fundamental obligation to its citizens to practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.
Our children and others are leaving Niagara Falls for greener pastures where better employment and lower taxes make communities thrive.

Lower taxes and better employment go together like “health and happiness.” High taxes and low employment go together like, well, “crooked politician.” Tax relief is our motto.

** Those who cannot provide for themselves, should be helped to become self-reliant.

Those who can work but will not provide for themselves should not be allowed to burden hard-working taxpayers. As it says in the Bible, “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.”
We must teach all to work. For almost everyone, no matter how poor or uneducated or weak is capable of some kind of work – be it ever so slight.

The very fact of them working, may give them the strength and courage to rise.

As committee people, we not only try to obtain your signature on a petition but talk to you to understand your concerns. This is the way we try to build a platform on issues for candidates.

The city of Niagara Falls Republican Committee is looking for a number of people to fill committee seats. If you are interested you can contact me at 716-417 3008 or email rkrause01@gmail.com.

If you are a member of a different party and would like to contact your own party, you can find information at the Board of Elections,www.elections.niagara.ny.us.

Although I believe the road to ending Niagara Falls’ poverty lies in getting the grand ideals of Republicans imbued into local office holders.

For we are at a critical juncture in American history. Half want more government, while half want more freedom.

Who will win?

The half, opting for more government, always seem to be the ones who make a profit off of Government. They elect men and women who support these objectives.

This half wants to grow government to secure more benefits, at the expense of those who will not take them. Who want to receive from life only what they earn honestly for themselves.

The ones who want freedom always seem to have too much integrity to take the entitlements of government or lobby for them because they know it comes at the price of freedom.

Everyday, the people's freedoms are being taken away and they are silent and they lament it. And they regret the lost freedoms of America.

Here, in Niagara Falls, you can do something. Become a committeeman and dedicate yourself as a voice of freedom.
Yes, you too can make a difference.
