The good looking guy in the picture (right) is my son, Hubert Duckworth and, if this city is lucky, we’ll be seeing a lot of my boy.  If all goes well, he will be appearing on billboards across the USA representing Niagara Falls . The theme of my campaign, if I get it approved at the next council meeting, is an enhancement of the city’s plan to pay 20 college grads to live here. My proposal calls for more than just paying people to move and leaving them alone. No, we are going to look after you, take care of you. Invite you to dinner. The city decided it has to keep its population over 50,000 to keep getting HUD funds that have done us a lot of good as you can see. We know we have to pay the right kind of people to move here. But college grads alone won’t do it. Don’t get me wrong. Mayor Dyster’s plan to pay 20 grads to live here was nothing less than a revelation. But my plan is better. We pay good looking people to live here. That will really spruce up the old neighborhoods. Wouldn’t you rather have your tax money go to a person who is really nice to look at?
