Niagara Falls must cut spending in time of need

By Frank Parlato

You better salute back you unpatriotic weaklings. This man helps support your government...
Is he your leader too? Hu Jintao is the paramount leader of the slave state called the People's Republic of China. China has the largest foreign ownership of US debt. As US debt increases, US citizens pay increasing amounts to China as interest on government
debt to help Chinese leaders
better enslave their own people.
Can government take more and more tax money from the people and spend its way to prosperity or does government need to live within its means and be frugal and respectful of the people? This is a question Mayor Dyster has to answer as the city goes into deep deficit... Does city hall start cutting or keep increasing spending?
He may be well-intended, but during the administration of President Obama, the US government has increased the federal deficit in record breaking fashion. Can Niagara Falls show America the way to reduce government
spending?

According to Controller Maria Brown, the city of Niagara Falls is facing a $6 to 7 million deficit next year.

Most people cut their expenses when they are short of money. They have to.

One day, hopefully, we will demand this of government.

Of course, the United States government is the extreme example of the opposite.

One of the weakest of peoples of the nations of the world, the people of the United States cannot afford their own government. In fact, last year their government cost them 56 percent more than what they could afford to pay.

Instead of cutting expenses, foreign investors and governments from around the world had to help out the weaklings of America pay their own government.

Sad sacks.

The government also prints money to make up the difference.

This causes inflation which makes the money of the people who work and save money in America worth less.

As of Aug. 5, 2012, the U. S. government owed almost $16 trillion.

The estimated population of the United States is 313,263,288. Each citizen's share of the government’s debt is $50,856.

The largest foreign holders of U.S. debt include China, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, OPEC nations, Japan and Venezuela, among others.

A large portion of taxes being paid by American citizens goes to foreign governments as interest on U.S. debt.

Imagine a nation so weak that slave states like China or Iran pay for the U. S. government.
Or a nation like Venezuela.

In 2011, the US government took in $2.3 trillion but spent $3.6 trillion. If this were the income and expenses of a man and we took off eight zeroes, he would have earned $23,000 and spent $36,000.

His credit card debt is $160,000.

Sad sack.

Suppose this rascal could keep borrowing or stealing and supplement it a little by counterfeiting a little money. How long could this rascal go before bankrupting himself?

The city of Niagara Falls, while it can borrow, cannot print money.
Maybe it simply has to cut expenses.

Maybe the people of Niagara Falls, often considered the weakest and among the least informed of Americans, the ones who have tremendous assets but are flat on their ass broke – can show the rest of the nation how to govern within their means.

With this ideal, the Niagara Falls Reporter is calling on the government of Niagara Falls to reduce spending and stop waste.
And live within its means.

And this means that since there is no casino revenue - and there has not been any for three years - to stop spending casino money until you have it!

In line with the Reporter calling on the city of Niagara Falls to cut spending, the Reporter has been examining government agencies the city pays for to look for ways the city can save money and avoid a tax increase next year.

The city has been ranked among the top cities in the United States for highest taxes in proportion to the people’s wealth. Being a high-taxed city and having high poverty levels are not coincidences.

The way to restore this city, we believe, is not more government, or by government spending our way to wealth. The U. S. government has been trying that for years.

The way is to live within our means.

Tax relief will bring prosperity.

If we did it here we could lead the nation and possibly save it from inevitable financial collapse.
