If you are interested in helping the Niagara County SPCA , you are invited to come to the shelter on Saturday, Aug. 25, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to the Dog Days of Summer event celebrating not only our canine friends but our feline friends as well.
There will be a Cruising for Critters Classic Car show, local artists and crafters, Chiavetta’s Chicken, carnival foods, obedience and agility demonstrations, pet supplies, beer and wine, basket and 50/50 raffles.
If you are interested in becoming a vendor, applications for vendor fees are due by Wednesday, Aug. 22, and applications may be dropped off at the SPCA at 2100 Lockport Rd. during regular business hours. There is no admission fee and $10 tickets for Chiavetta’s Chicken can be purchased online or at the event on Saturday.
Visitors are invited to bring a donation of pet food, toys, leashes, collars, etc., and they will receive a ticket to win a guitar signed by the band Buck Cherry. All supporters of the SPCA are invited to come out on Saturday and help this shelter continue to make strides in the care of animals. |
